While the ten-game win streak ended in the series loss to the Atlanta Braves, the New York Yankees still find themselves in first place in the American League East. They did get a little help from their cross-town rivals, the New York Mets, after they swept the Baltimore Orioles at Citi Field. The Yankees swept the Bronx installment of the Subway Series a couple of weeks ago, but now the series shifts down the 7 train and the Mets’ pitching has been lights out over the last few weeks and boasts one of the top rotations in the National League.
