Since Robinson Cano has come up from the minors, all he has done has hit. Today he hit a career milestone that only a few Yankees have hit at a younger age. Cano registered his 1,500^th career hit this afternoon, but it was a hit later on in the game that helped the Yankees beat the Colorado Rockies 3-1. (more…)

When you think of Coors Field, you think of a ton of runs. You think of the Blake Street Bombers, and the 2007 Rockies team that shocked everyone and made the World Series. Tonight, it was all about pitching. In fact, it was only the 22nd time in the history of the park that a game was scoreless through five (H/T to MLB Tonight for that stat). Should The Yankees Trade For Matt Garza?

With the loss of CC Sabathia until after the All-Star break and Andy Pettitte out for at least 6 weeks, the Yankees are left with a lot of question marks in their rotation. Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman has already come out and said that the Yankees would “prefer not to go outside (the organization)” While I agree going outside the organization is not preferred when you’re the Yankees and the expectation is the World Series or bust than you must explore all your options and I believe Matt Garza to be the best option.
