Billy Brost: Co-Editor (12/03/13 – Present)

Billy serves in the role of co-editor and contributing writer for Yanks Go Yard. He also writes on his own blog WestCoastYankees-The Blog. He earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in history from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Billy’s work has appeared in Baseball Digest, Sport, The Inscriber Digital Magazine, Rant Sports, and Yahoo! among others.

Billy has been a fan of the Yankees since 1981, and during baseball season in his household, it is no holds barred as his wife is a passionate Boston Red Sox fan. He is a baseball card junkie, and has played fantasy baseball since the mid-1980s. Follow Billy on Twitter: @Billy_Brost


Ricky Keeler:  Sr. Staff Writer (5/9/11 – Present)

Ricky is a senior at St. John’s University with a career goal in becoming a sports broadcaster. He is also a writer for Foxboro Blog, a New England Patriots’ website. Chad R. MacDonald: Social Media Manager (2/20/14 – Present)

Chad is a lifelong Yankees fan. He holds a degree in English Literature from Cape Breton University, and subsequently received a full scholarship from AMDA in New York City. His articles have appeared on Bleacher Report, New York Sports Hub, and he comes to Yanks Go Yard from Bleeding Yankee Blue, where he was the Features Writer during 2013. Scott Alfano: Yankees Insider (12/08/13 – Present)

Raised in the Bronx, NY, Scott has been surrounded by baseball since he could walk. His father was his first baseball coach and he soon moved on to the Bronx travel leagues. He was a pitcher and first baseman at Riverdale Country School and a pitcher at Union College. After a shoulder injury that stopped his playing career, he began instructing pitching, hitting, and first base work at Pro Prospects Training Center in Monticello, NY. Brendan Fitzgerald: Sabermetrics Analyst (10/28/13 – Present)

Brendan in Illinois and studies at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. His father made him a baseball fan and Paul O’Neill made him a Yankees fan. Brendan is a Disciple of Sabermetrics and an avid Strat-O-Matic and fantasy sports player.
