@sward92151 I apologize if my previous comment came off as snarky, I did not mean to insult you or get you so upset. I am also not trying to start an internet pissing war with you. I'm sorry if that's how I come off.

The reason I chose the headline is because it would be what MSM is saying about Jeter if they decide to call him out -- which is what the entire article is about. I guess I did not do a good enough job of illustrating that, which is my fault.

I apologize again if you still take offense to it. I did not write the headline for shock value. I feel it is apropos the subject of my post.

As for Twitter, you definitely didn't get the link from one of my tweets because I put a little blurb w/ it when I tweeted the article. Also, the headline is not a false statement. It is a question posed.

As I said before, I wholeheartedly apologize if you are still upset about it. I never had any intentions of misleading, alienating or upsetting any readers; that would be a foolish move as the whole point of a blog is to draw readers in and keep them coming back.

I hope this one post hasn't sullied your view of Yanks Go Yard and you are at least still able to enjoy the other writers here. Sorry again if you are still upset.

Take care and go Yanks!

@Andrew Corselli
Yes Andrew I actually got what you were saying. I am guessing you, however, did not get what I was saying. The link to your article was posted on Twitter with ONLY the headline. It was a sensationalistic headline trying to draw in readers with a false statement-hence my example of "Andrew Corselli? Go read him - he is a plagerist!" False statement, I am assuming, but inflammatory enough to draw in readers under false pretenses. THAT was my problem with your headline. A headline should reflect the heart of the story-not be a statement that you spend an article refuting.
