He also writes on his own blog: WestCoastYankees-The Blog. He earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in history from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Billy's work has appeared in Baseball Digest, Sport, The Inscriber Digital Magazine, Rant Sports, and Yahoo! among others. Billy has been a fan of the New York Yankees since 1981, and during baseball season he must tread lightly as his wife is a diehard Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoys researching and writing about the history of the game, and is a fantasy baseball and baseball card junkie.
Jason is a recent master's degree recipient in sports management. He's been a huge baseball and sports fan since he was born. Jason has worked as a board operator at SiriusXM for college and pro football and basketball games.
Joe is a lifelong diehard baseball fan originally from Rockland County, NY and now living in Gilbert, AZ. He graduated from Virginia Tech before earning his JD from St. Thomas University School of Law. In February of 2014 he was blessed with birth of his first child, the littlest Yankee fan. Wayne Cavadi is a New York transplant who has been in Atlanta for 12 years. His love for the pinstripes is second to none. Daniel is a huge Yankees fan and a freelance writer. He has also covered Notre Dame sports for various other sites. Raised in the Bronx, NY, Scott has been surrounded by baseball since he could walk. His father was his first baseball coach and he soon moved on to the Bronx travel leagues. He was a pitcher and first baseman at Riverdale Country School and a pitcher at Union College. After a shoulder injury that stopped his playing career, he began instructing pitching, hitting, and first base work at Pro Prospects Training Center in Monticello, NY. He received his degree in English and Physics from Union College, and recently finished his MBA at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida.
Grant is in high school, and loves everything to do with the Yankees. He has also enjoyed writing for as long as he can remember. In addition to getting his first real job in writing for Yanks Go Yard, Grant also writes for and is involved in his school newspaper, and hopes to one day go to college for journalism.
