New York Yankees Editorial: Prospects On Fire As Of Late

The New York Yankees have established a legit farm system once again and two of the their five prospects are already showing great potential in pinstripes. Luis Severino and Gregory Bird have been key call-ups for the Yankees, but what about the other guys doing their thing in the minors?

Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez have been exceeding expectations in Triple-A since they were both called up earlier this season.

Sanchez, in 33 games has six homers along with 26 RBIs, and let’s not forget the 12 bombs he had in Double-A. When Sanchez will actually get a chance to be in pinstripes is anyone’s guess, especially with Brian McCann and John Ryan Murphy clearly solidifying the top two spots behind the dish in the Bronx. However, with Sanchez now producing in Triple-A as much as he did in Double-A, he’s certainty making a name for himself.

Aaron Judge, on the other hand, is much closer to making a pinstripe debut than Sanchez. Judge has 20 homers between Double-A and Triple-A, and next to Severino has the most hype behind him, and for good reason. The towering giant has been on the radar and could very well still make his debut by the end of this year come September when rosters expand.

This just adds to the excitement Yankees fans should have about the future, though it is still win now, do you think Aaron Judge can still find a way into the Bronx this season, and when do you think Sanchez will make his Yankees debut?
