New York Yankees Editorial: Why The Bullpen Should Be Fine & Soon
By Jason Evans
The New York Yankees bullpen has been the talk of the club since closer Andrew Miller went down. Relievers have been going in and out of the bullpen for the past two weeks since Miller got hurt. There are a couple of reasons why the bullpen should begin to stabilize and quickly.
First of all, Miller will begin throwing for the first time on Wednesday. Once that starts, since he comes out of the bullpen, the process of him being activated off the DL should be rather quick.

When Miller gets back, Dellin Betances can move back to the eighth and Justin Wilson and Chasen Shreve can handle the seventh.
The Yankees could use a right-handed presence in that bullpen besides Betances. Maybe Nick Rumbelow or Diego Moreno can help. Or maybe their extra starter can take care of that.
Ivan Nova will be back on Wednesday and the Yankees will use a six-man rotation this time around.
Either Adam Warren or Nathan Eovaldi will be the one going to the bullpen. Warren has experience in that setup role last year, but has out-performed Eovaldi thus far this season.
The Yankees need to have a little patience this week and let the bullpen situation play out. Many of their questions can be answered very soon.
