PITCHING MATCHUP

On the mound for the Yankees tonight against the Chicago White Sox, will be 25-year-old right hander, Shane Greene. Greene has been very impressive thus far in his rookie campaign, posting a 3-1 record to go along with a 2.91 ERA. His last time out against the Rays, Greene was outstanding, going six innings, while allowing two runs, in a Yankees victory. If Greene can keep his trend of solid starts going, then the Yankees should find themselves in a tight game (as usual).

Opposing Greene and the Yankees, will be veteran left-hander, John Danks. Danks, has not had a great year. He comes into this game with a 9-8 record, and a 4.94 ERA. Danks has lost his last three outings in a row, and the Yankees would like to make it four tonight. If history is any indication, the Yankees should have a good chance, as they come into this game, as a team, batting .285 against Danks.
