The Yankees broke a 5 game losing streak Saturday with a 3-2 win over the Rays. Martin Prado hit a 2-run homer in the second inning and Derek Jeter hit an RBI single to right field to give the Yankees all they would need. Shane Greene looked good once again, keeping the Rays offense quiet and striking out 10.

With the win Saturday, the Yankees improved to 62-59 which still puts them 7 games out in the division and 4 games out in the wild card race. The Rays fell back below .500 (61-62) with the loss.

The Yankees need to win the series finale to gain some confidence after having a bad week that included losing the series to the Indians and being swept by the Orioles.
