LHP Rich Hill Takes Thornton’s Bullpen Spot
With the recent departure of Matt Thornton, this gives the Yankees an opportunity to call up another player to fill in that spot. The Yankees have decided to give the nod to Rich Hill.
Hill is being called up from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. His numbers have not been that bad since recently joining the squad. In the last ten games, Hill has pitched four innings, and did not give up any runs. He gave up just two hits, and gave up one walk, while striking out 10.
