Former Yankees' Second Baseman, Chuck Knoblauch Arrested

Former All-Star second baseman and New York Yankee, Chuck Knoblauch was arrested Wednesday night, after allegedly assaulting his ex-wife. He and Cheri Knoblauch divorced in 2012. According to KHOU in Houston, Memorial Village Police arrested Knoblauch, and he was later released after posting $10,000 in bond money.

The four-time All-Star, 1991 American League Rookie of the Year, and multiple World Series champion with both the Minnesota Twins and the Yankees, seems to have a hard time keeping his hands to himself and playing nice with others. Knoblauch was also arrested for hitting his wife at the time, Stacey Stelmach back in 2009. He received a one year probation sentence a year later in 2010.

Knoblauch was elected to the Minnesota Twins’ team Hall of Fame earlier this season, and he was supposed to participate in the ceremony later next month, but in lieu of his recent legal troubles, the ceremony has been postponed and not rescheduled as of this posting.
