Tuesday was a positive day on the farm for the Baby Bombers. The Yankees’ Minor League affiliates won four of six games. Here’s how it played out.

TRIPLE A

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (49-54) defeat Gwinnett Braves (46-58) 7-0

Bryan Mitchell got the start for the RailRiders, and did not allow a run in five innings. He worked in and out of trouble, allowing seven base runners, but battled through. Rob Segedin was the offensive catalyst for SWB, going two-for-four with five RBI. His sixth inning homer was his first for SWB since his promotion Sunday. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre looks for their fourth straight win Wednesday when they play the Braves at 6:35. Chris Leroux will make the first pitch.

DOUBLE A

Trenton Thunder (48-56) lose to New Hampshire Fisher Cats (48-55) 3-0

Manny Banuelos finally had a good start, but the offense let him down. He pitched five shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out five. Unfortunately for the former phenom, the team could manage just four hits and never had a player get past second base. The Thunder have an early start Wednesday. Zach Nuding makes the 12:05 start against the Fisher Cats, as Trenton looks to get back on track.
