Fan Who Fell Asleep At Game Files Law Suit Against Announcers, Yankees

Have you ever fallen asleep at a baseball game? A Red Sox-Yankee game? Then, were you mercilessly tormented by ESPN announcers Dan Shulman and John Kruk making disparaging comments about your resting habits?

One fan has. Andrew Robert Rector has filed a suit about the on-air April 13th incident. According to the Daily News, Rector was referred to by multiple names including “a fatty cow,” during “an avalanche of disparaging words.”

In addition, Rector has sued for the amount of ten million dollars, citing emotional pain as his reason.

Next time you think you can close your eyes without consequences, remember this case. And if you really want to rest, buy a seat in the nosebleed section.
