The Baby Bombers had another day of mixed results on Tuesday. They split the four games played, going 2-2. Here’s the recaps.

TRIPLE-A

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (32-32) lose to Toledo Mud Hens (31-35) 6-3

Kyle Roller had a homer and drove in all three runs for Scranton, and Jose Pirela had two hits to raise his average to .329. Shane Green started for the RailRiders and gave up eight hits in for innings, but allowed just one run. Scranton as an off day on Wednesday.

TRENTON THUNDER (33-32) lose to Richmond Flying Squirrels (36-26) 7-4

Mason Williams continued his hot hitting of late, collecting two hits and two RBI for the Thunder. Brian Mitchell did not have his best stuff, lasting just 4.1 innings and allowing five earned runs on six hits and three walks. The Thunder send Jeremy Bleich to the hill on Wednesday.

SINGLE-A

Tampa Yankees (31-34) defeat Clearwater Threshers (14-50) 5-4

Miguel Sulbaran was solid for the Yankees, going four innings and allowing just one run. Trent Garrison had three hit day and hit his first home run of the year for Tampa. The Yankees will rest up on Wednesday, before resuming the series with Clearwater on Thursday.

Charleston RiverDogs (30-35) defeat Greenville Drive (30-34) 8-5

Tyler Wade had a triple and three RBI to pace the offense on Tuesday. Aaron Judge had three hits to raise his average to .321. Ian Clarkin got the start and gave up three runs in four innings, striking out five. Caleb Smith looks to turn things around on Wednesday after allowing six runs in each of his last two starts.
