2 Chainz, French Montana Rap About A-Rod

Alex Rodriguez isn’t playing baseball this season, but he might be credited for a hit, anyway.

Hip-Hop artists 2 Chainz and French Montana have dedicated an entire song about “Walking through the park like A-Rod.” Why anybody exactly wants to compare themselves to the banned athlete is unknown, but the song still elicits a few laughs. Even though 2 Chainz doesn’t have the songwriting abilities of Slick Rick, or the voice of Tupac Shakur or the Notorious B.I.G., Mr. Chainz puts his own, identifiable spin on each of his songs. The hook goes like this:

I be riding through the park like I’m A-Rod

Walking through the park like I’m A-Rod

Smoking on that strong, that’s a steroid

They tryna kick me out like A-Rod

This song will no doubt be on Alex’s playlist, on repeat, over and over again. (Parental advisory is advised when listening to the song).
