Over the last month, we at the Yanks Go Yard Radio Show previewed the entire AL East via our State Of The AL East Series. Now, with the season only a few days away, we get to finally see whether or not the new Yankees’ acquisitions will lead to another division title. Of course, there was still some big off-season news to be discussed on Thursday when Miguel Cabrera signed his 8-year, $248 million extension. That being said, it’s now time to settle it on the field and not with the checkbooks.

On this edition of the Yanks Go Yard Show, Yankees’ Insider Jacob Winters and co-editor Jason Evans joined me to give their thoughts on the Cabrera extension. Plus, we make our picks! This included picking each division, wild cards, and our World Series Champions. Plus, we give our individual award predictions for MVP and Cy Young in both leagues that could surprise some people. You can also hear why I think the Wild Card game in the American League will be the Red Sox against the Yankees.

We would also like to remind you that this Sunday night at 11:00 PM ET, we will kick off our fourth season of doing series preview shows here at Yanks Go Yard. It begins with the Houston Astros. I will talk with Ray Kuhn of Climbing Tal’s Hill to breakdown the pitching matchups, discuss players to watch, and his thoughts on the Astros’ young talent and their 2014 expectations.
