New York Yankees 2014 Schedule Released

With the playoff push going full steam ahead during 2013, why not release the schedule for 2014? That’s exactly what Major League Baseball did today, as they released the Yankees schedule for next season. Let’s take a look at some of the dates to watch for with the New York Yankees.

The Yankees begin 2014 where they will end the 2013 regular season, in Houston against the Astros on Tuesday April 1. They go to Toronto before heading home with their home opener on Monday April 7 against the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees will host the Chicago Cubs on April 15 and 16 for two games.

In other interleague matchups, they will head to Milwaukee on May for a three game set. The Subway Series against the Mets will take place at home on May 12-13 and at Citi Field on the 14th and 15th. They host the Pittsburgh Pirates from the 16th-18th and go to Chicago on the 20th and 21st. They go to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals May 26-28.

After the All-Star break, the Yankees host the Reds July 18-20. The season concludes in Fenway against the Red Sox September 26-28. The Yankees face the Red Sox for the second home series of the season and then don’t face them until late June.

The Yankees conclude their home schedule the way the begin it with a series against the Orioles from September 23-25.

Game times for next season have yet to be announced.
