Yanks Lose Again: The Yankees fell to 1-4 on the spring with a 10-7 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Brett Gardner had a three run triple, but it wasn’t enough. The Yankees made five errors in the game and starter Nik Turley only got one out and gave up five runs. The Yankees had a lot of prospects playing, but five errors is a ton.Hughes Iffy: Phil Hughes may not start the season on time for the Yankees due to his bulging disc. Hughes is apparently two weeks from starting a game and he may not be stretched out in time to start the season. He says he’s pain three and has been doing pool workouts the past couple of days, but doesn’t know when he can throw again.

Pitching News: CC Sabathia and Mariano Rivera each threw a batting practice session today. Rivera may get into a game next week. Hiroki Kuroda will start Friday and Ivan Nova will start Saturday as they make their debuts. Andy Pettitte will throw a simulated game Sunday.

Just Split It: The Yankees have a split squad today. Their home game against the Blue Jays is at 1:05 and on YES 10pm on MLB Network.  Their road game against the Houston Astros is at 1:05 and is on MLB.TV and will be on at 2 and 6 am tomorrow on MLB Network. Brett Marshall will start against Houston. Here is their lineup against Toronto;
