Yanks Lose Again: The Yankees lost yesterday’s game to the Phillies 4-3 and are now 1-3 this Spring. On the plus side, Ichiro Suzuki had three hits, J.R. Murphy hit a long home run and Joba Chamberlain struck out two in his first spring outing of the year. Speaking of Joba…Joba Rules Part Two?: Joba apparently hasn’t given up his dream of being a full-time starter. He wants to, wherever that may be, since he’s a free agent after the season. I think that ship has sailed and it would take at least two years for him to get back to doing that anyway. I think the best bet for him is to become Mariano Rivera‘s heir apparent.

No Nuni or Damon: Johnny Damon isn’t an option for the Yankees in left field says GM Brian Cashman and neither is Eduardo Nunez. I think both decisions are wise. I don’t think Damon has anything left and I think Nunez needs to focus on playing the infield, since he may be counted on doing that quite a bit in 2013.

Sabathia Shake: CC Sabathia did his own Harlem Shake video. The link can be found in our hub.
