Hughes Back: Phil Hughes‘ back is improving. Today is the last day of his anti-inflammatory medication and he’s going into the pool at the minor league complex to help him rehab. Hughes will miss two weeks. He can take his rehab slow. There’s six weeks til opening day.Evil Empire: Remember when Larry Lucchino called the New York Yankees the evil empire when they signed Jose Contreras. Well, Evil Enterprises Inc, wanted to market shirts with the phrase Evil Empire.  Well, they can’t. The Yankees filed suit and won.  Memo of the story, don’t mess with the Yankees (no matter how weird the story is)

Core Four: No, Jorge Posada isn’t coming back. However, he was at camp yesterday as a guest instructor. It was just nice to see pictures of him in camp.
