Yanks Go Yard Radio Show: Yankees’ loss forces elimination game

Well, that was not exactly the ending we were hoping for. The New York Yankees could not get a hit when they needed it, failing to reward an all around fantastic pitching effort from Phil Hughes and the bullpen. The 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Baltimore Orioles forces a Game 5 this afternoon at Yankee Stadium. The winner will meet the Detroit Tigers in the American League Championship Series.

In this show I talk with Yanks Go Yard staffer Benjamin Orr and Derek Arnold from BMoreBirdsnest.com. We discuss the results of Game 4 and look ahead to today’s elimination game.

Can the Yankees garner enough offense to support CC Sabathia? We’re just hours away from figuring it out.
