@MHunterYGY I guess you're right about Soriano and Chapman; it all depends on the coverage in your area. Although I feel all my other points are valid -- Ichiro and Prince celebrations, and the Ortiz/Manny thing.

@jkra0512_SK Couldn't agree more. Some traditions are cool, but there are some that just need to go.

I like the celebrations, it's what helps differentiate players from each other. Baseball needs personality and I can't wait until the old crusties leave this game. While some of the old traditions are nice, most of them are outdated...

I do agree that there are a lot of double standards in the MSM in general. However, a lot of it does depend on your perspective. Based on what I have seen and read, Chapman's somersaults have garnered a lot more attention and criticism than the untuck. In fact, when I saw everyone talking about the untuck on Twitter a couple days ago, I didn't know what they were talking about. Maybe in New York the perception of the MSM is different, but over here in California, I personally haven't seen much hypocrisy, and for both Soriano and Wade, I haven't heard anybody really criticizing their actions. Not that I follow the MSM that much, and much of it is just from Baseball Tonight, but my point still stands. It all kind of depends on your perspective.
