My sentiments exactly. I’m not sure Wandy is the upgrade the Yankees truly need in the pitching rotation. While he’s decent, he’s not significantly better than anyone the Yankees already have on the roster.

Good article Jimmy.

I don’t believe we need Rodriguez. He does well in Houston, in a division (the NL Central) which is a soft division. You bring him to NY in the AL East? He’s AJ Burnett 2.0, if not worse. I’d much rather try to get Cole Hamels. Hamels is not only a better pitcher, but he’s five years younger.

Yeah, Wandy’s okay, but for what they would probably have to give up for him, that’s definitely a no for me. Also, I’m not sure a .282 BABIP is really that much lower than average, but regardeless of the reason why, Wandy is definitely not as good as his ERA has shown so far this season. Personally, I think the Yankees are fine as they are.
