Excellent article and insight on how the Yankees are drafting talent nowadays. They absolutely needed to move past the whole “let’s sign superstars on the latter half of their prime” and needed to start developing talent. Low-A Charleston fields what will likely be at least 3-4 players who will make the MLB club in the future. Sanchez, Bichette Jr., Gumbs, Campos, Williams, Gamel, and Austin.

Let’s not forget that Slade Heathcott is still around, although he needs to learn to stay healthy. However, when he is, he’s like another Brett Gardner. I would love an outfield containing Williams, Gamel/Gardner, Heathcott by 2015-16.
