He's one of the few players that I say plays the game the "right way" and treats his profession with respect. I think that last part is what is important in today's game. Many times, players take the game for granted and they come off as pompous or jerks. Grandy is truly an ambassador of the game and when he's done playing, I can see him going the route of Buck O'Neill of spreading the good word!
