Yankees-Orioles (5/14-5/15) Podcast Preview

The New York Yankees are coming off of a very successful home stand. Even though they lost Andy Pettitte‘s debut, New York went 4-2 and is nearly clicking on all cylinders with the pitching staff.  Even though they are 2.5 games out of first place, guys like Raul Ibanez are carrying the Yankee lineup in the bottom of the order.

This series is filled with the storyline that each team will be throwing arguably their two best starting pitchers. The Yankees will throw CC Sabathia and Ivan Nova to the mound while the Orioles will counter with Jason Hammel and Wei-Yin Chen.

For this podcast, I talked with Domenic Vadala from Birdswatcher.com about all things Orioles, some X-Factors to watch in the series, and how manager Buck Showalter could handle their young pitching staff should they stay in contention!

Enjoy the show and send in your questions for the next podcast, which will be for the Toronto Blue Jays’ series
