Yankees at Royals Podcast Preview

After a disappointing series against the Baltimore Orioles, the New York Yankees will look to get the bats back alive beginning tonight in Kansas City against the struggling Royals. The perfect antidote for a team that scored just three runs over the last three games seems to be a team that is 0-10 so far on their home schedule. However, the Royals have a lot of promise, particularly with two young cornerstones on their infield in first baseman Eric Hosmer and third baseman Mike Moustakas. Plus, Kauffman Stadium is usually packed for the Yankees’ yearly visit.

For this show, I spoke with Michael Engel from to talk the pitching matchups, the state of the Royals and some advice to Kansas City fans on how to enjoy winning once their franchise goes back to their winning ways of the 70’s and 80’s.
