Through four games, the Yankees have the best K:BB ratio in MLB at 18:25. Their 25 walks lead the majors and their 18 strikeouts are the second lowest in the game (the Tigers have 17 K but also have only drawn eight walks).
Their .257 BABIP puts them right at the middle of the pack, and once those hits start dropping in we’ll look back at this three-game “slide” and laugh.
Let’s be honest, the Yanks have slugged just three home runs (third lowest in ball) in their four games. As soon as they find their stroke they’re going to start murdering teams; regression is a wonderful thing.
