Yankees Fans Will Once Again Be Represented in Fan Cave

Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

MLB has chosen its Fan Cave dwellers for the 2012 season and there will be a whopping NINE of them instead of merely two, like last year.  But even with the increase in Cave people, the majority of fan bases will not be fortunate enough to have a representative. The Yankees, however, will once again be well represented as Brooklyn-born Eddie Mata will fill the shoes of Mike O’Hara as the resident Yankees homer.

If you think Eddie looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen him around the sports world before. He was one of YES Network’s Ultimate Road Trippers and was a Gillette Rookie Reporter in 2008. Check out Eddie’s audition video below. I think he’s going to bring a lot of personality to the Cave.
