Well, he started in 98 games during his time in New York. At least we can say that much. He helped us win a WS and was great in the playoffs for us, so we just thank him for his service and move on. Good trade for both teams. He was worth 3.5 WAR in his first year of the deal but was worth under the league average in 2010 and 2011. The Yankees lost about $35 million in value from the Burnett signing, and all that remains are two low-line prospects, but at least Moreno has MRP potential.
