Arizona Fall League Check-In: Oct 24


The Desert Dogs started the week with an afternoon game against the Salt River Rafters, winning by a score of 4-1.

Second baseman Corban Joseph hit in the 2-spot for the Desert Dogs and went 2-5 with a double, a run scored, and 2 RBI. Joseph’s hits were timely as well – both of his RBI came with 2 outs. Ronnier Mustelier played third base and hit fifth, going 2-5 on the day and picking up his first stolen base of the AFL season.

Though six pitching prospects took the mound for the Desert Dogs, none of them were Yankees prosepcts.

The Desert Dogs will be back on the field today against the Peoria Javelinas at 2:35 PM EST.
