CC Sabathia has apparently invested in a new restaurant in Manhattan. Canz-a-Citi, located in Murray Hill, will open tomorrow night. Canz is pretty much a Hooters knock off and has already been butting heads with Hooters in Queens and Long Island.
The only drawback of CC being a part owner of this fine establishment is that Steven Ferraro, co-founder of Canz, said that it does not guarantee the big lefty will stay with the Yanks.
Ferraro:
I have to take the fifth on that. All I can tell you is that CC loves New York and he loves being a Yankee. We’ll see what happens.
