‘I Suck at Life’ + new postseason predictions

Prior to the season, I made some predictions about how the season would pan out. It ain’t pretty. I should have taken John Sterling’s advice. Anyway, check out how wrong I was and see me make an ass out of myself again as I predict how the postseason will play out.

I Suck at Life:

What I (foolishly) thought would happen in bold, what actually happened in regular type

AL East

1. Red Cox: 94-68
2. Yankees: 89-73 (Wild Card)
3. Orioles: 86-76
4. Blue Jays: 74-88
5. Rays: 72-90

1. Yanks 97-65
2. Rays 91-71 (Wild Card)
3. Red Cox 90-72
4. Blue Jays 81-81
5. Orioles 69-93

I was drinking that Red Sox Kool-Aid prior to the season as well as the Orioles Kool-Aid, so stupid. I should have my fan card pulled. The Rays really surprised me too, I didn’t think they had it in them. At least I got one playoff team correct and predicted that the WC would come from this division, which, if added with a nickel, will get me a hot cup of jack squat.

I really screwed the pooch here, I didn’t get one spot correct. As usual, I suck at life.

This is my Sgt. Pepper. I got two spots right and damn near hit the Mariners’ win total on the head. Put this on my tombstone.

I was also riding the Braves’ jock prior to the season. Another foolish mistake. However, you’ve got to give me credit for nailing the Nats’ win total…or don’t, see if I care.

Yanks-Reds, NYY 4-1

Yeah, that’s obviously not going to happen. At least my WS winner could still happen.

Now that I have typed that, expect the Yanks and D’Bags to get knocked out in the first round. Sorry.
