Yankees-Twins Podcast Preview: Will the Bats Be on Target?

Despite the controversy amidst the Yankees’ loss last night, they were still able to take two of three from the Kansas City Royals and re-obtain first place in the AL East. Now, they head to Minnesota to face a team who they have been so dominant against the past few years in the Minnesota Twins. The Twins are not having a good season due to numerous injuries, but you know that manager Ron Gardenhire will have his guys looking to play spoilers against these contending teams. They will play a huge part in who wins the AL Central when all is set and done. The Yankees’ starters for tonight and Friday are already known (Sabathia and Hughes), but the weekend is still up in the air with Garcia’s bullpen session scheduled for today. Plus, Alex Rodriguez should be back in the lineup by the end of the weekend which is a plus for a hot Yankees’ offense
