Don't cha know?

Robinson Cano won the home run derby tonight, becoming the first Yankee since the Great Giambino in 2002 to win. Not only did he win, but he beat Red Sock Adrian Gonzalez in the finals. I guess there are some things $154 million can’t buy…

Robbie smacked a final-round record 12 homers (besting A-Gone by one) for a total of 32 long balls in his first derby. Cano had his old man, Jose, pitch to him and didn’t disappoint; his longest dinger went 472 feet in a classic slugfest.

Congratulations Robbie!
