Spring training pics

Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend, but I was busy in Florida visiting friends/relatives and taking in a game at Steinbrenner Field (the beers are $7 down there).

Instead of boring you with the gory details, I figure I’d show you some of the pics I got. I apologize for the lack of quality, I had to use my phone because my camera broke. Without further ado here they are:

I call this one “The Tall Asshole Who Wouldn’t Throw Me A Ball.” The exit to the stadium is right by the Yanks bullpen, so I thought it would be a cool idea to try to get Andrew Brackman to throw me a ball. Our exchange went like this:

Me: Hey Brackman, throw me a ball.

Brackman: Looks around next to him Sorry I can’t. (There was a bag of balls about five feet from him)

Me: C’mon, we have the same name and you’re my favorite Killer B.

Brackman: Laughs and gets up to do some stretching

Me: Walks away dejected, with head down…trying to fight off tears.

I call this one “The Douche That Wore A Papelbon Shirsey To A Yanks/Braves Spring Training Game…With A Cameo By Some Blonde Strumpet.” What else can be said about this one:

“I’m Surprised He Didn’t Commit An Error While Stretching.” I kind of feel bad for Brooks Conrad but then again he did make $400,000 last year, so f’ him.

“BASEBALL IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
