Only throwing 55 plus innings is horrible. I still think the Yanks should take the bite on Ben Sheets. Yes, he's still had an injury laden past but he'll flourish in the middle of the rotation until he's comfortable to step up. As for the remaining field, I've never been a Freddy Garcia fan so he's. The Yankees next best option to fill the lefty void is Jeff Francis. Outside of that I'd seriously consider Chris Young. The man throws ched and is a monster constantly being hindered by a bad run support system and the Jake Peavy shadow. Word to the Yanks....don't bank on Pettitte although I love to have him back, and focus on Sheets, Francis, and Young until the young ones are ready.
