Jeter signs

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the Yanks signed Derek Jeter to a three-year contract with a player option for a fourth year. So it’s pretty much a four-year deal.

Jeet will get $51 million over the first three years and the option sits at $8 million with a $3 million buyout. Incentives could net the Yankee captain another $9 million. So that’s that.
