Although AJ’s performance fell short of my prediction, he still threw a pretty good game. This loss wasn’t on him, it was on Girardi leaving him in too long. Why would you leave someone who hasn’t pitched in over two weeks in for 99 pitches? Anybody who blames AJ for that loss doesn’t know shit about baseball.
I don’t have much else to add, Tex is gone until April and it’s do or die time for the Yanks. CC is on the bump but if the offense doesn’t get going it doesn’t matter who’s pitching.
We have to look at it like this: I know it looks bad for the Yanks right now but if they win today then they have Philthy and Pettitte going in Games 6 and 7. It’s not impossible.
LET’S GO YANKS!!!!
