Move over Sabathia…

…there’s another CC in town.

Colin Curtis, a member of the Yankees vaunted 2006 Draft class, recorded his first Major League hit on Tuesday, a pinch-hit two-run double off Chad Qualls in the eighth inning of Tuesday’s 9-3 win. New CC’s story is pretty impressive — he was diagnosed with testicular cancer at age 15 but beat that shit and has been cancer-free since 2000. So regardless of how you feel about the Yanks, cheer on New CC whenever you get the chance. He’s a fun kid to root for.

It was just a great feeling, it was fun being out there. (I’ve been dreaming about this) since I was four or five.
