I haven’t seen a blunder like that from the Indians since they sold us Manhattan for $24.

One day after an embarrassing 13-11 loss, the Yanks bounced back for a thrilling 7-3 victory over the Tribe.

Let’s hope the Yanks can finagle a win today to wash the stink of Saturday’s debacle off. Here’s the lineup:

No matter how bad things get in the Bronx, remember these three things: 1. The New York Yankees are the defending World Series champions and are tied for the second best record in the AL. 2. You don’t root for the Angels. 3. Roy Halladay is out of the AL East. That is all.

After an 8-2 rout of the Indians on Friday night, the Yanks came back and looked like shit on Saturday afternoon in a 13-11 debacle.

I can’t wait for the Yanks to get Curtis Granderson back tonight. Apparently, neither can their offense. Not only will he inject some much-needed life into the lineup but his presence means no more Winn/Thames/Russo/etc. in the outfield. That’s something to write home about.

Despite a piss-poor showing from the offense in the first half of Tuesday’s suspended game, the Yanks won the completion of the tilt on Wednesday, 1-0. Jeter went deep to left-center to account for the only offense, while AJ Burnett, who didn’t even pitch Wednesday but was solid as can be on Tuesday, got the win. D-Rob survived a Joe Mauer liner off his back (which A-Rod caught for an out) to get five outs, Joba got his standard four outs and Mo almost shit the bed but pulled out his ninth save of the year.

The Yanks’ first trip to Target Field was a memorable one. It was the first rain-delayed (let alone suspended) game in the young stadium’s history.

It’s no secret that the Yanks have looked like trash over the past week or so. The team has dropped two in a row (TO THE METS!!!!), five of six and six of eight overall.

Perfect, he’s not. It seems that Dallas Braden might be full of shit with regards to Moundgate after all.
