Fair enough...That's pretty cool about your great grandfather playing with the babe; I'd love to hear stories if you have any.

Of course he will always be remembered as a Yankee. But the Babe was molded from Baltimore. He grew up in a row-house which is now across the streets from Camden Yards. His father/grandfather (forget which) was murdered on the same street Camden Yards now sits on. My great grandfather went to school with Babe and played on the same team with him in high school. Growing up in the rough streets of Baltimore made him who he was for the Yankees. Babe is no more of a New Yorker than a Baltimorean.
