But great thing for the Sox it wasn't with Wang or Sabathia on the mound in this series. C.C. pitched a great game (Thurs) till the 8th inning when he lost it. What a great series for the Boston club and their fans, have to love a sweep of the Yanks if you're a Sox fan! Someone needs to look closer at the job that Girardi is doing as a manager. He's killing the club, by leaving pitchers in the game way to long. He's lucky the old George doesn't do much with the club these days. I never liked the Burnett signing, obviously it was way too much money for what his career numbers justified. I'm surprised he was that bad; he couldn't even make it through 3 innings. That sucks, must of been extremely hard to watch if you're a fan of the Yankees. Still two games left in this series and anything can and I'm sure will happen. BTW, great move shelling out $82.5 for Burnett! He didn't even earn $82.50 for that pathetic performance he showed on Tuesday night vs Boston. I'm thinking this move could be the worst one NY made in the off-season. Possibly the most costly, as this move might cost the Yanks from going after pitching needs closer to the trade deadline.
